Cooking with Dad

These are just come cute pictures of Daniel and Jason making cookies. Here is Daniel eating a cookie, the very first one he ate, other than my sister's pumpkin cookies. We were kind of shocked that he ate it. He will only eat dough and batter if Jason eats it though, he never wants it from me. This is our biggest problem. Daniel hauls the chair over to the counter and then stands on the chair. He has only fallen off about 20 times so far. We found a really cool step stool thing to help with kids just like Daniel but it is kind of expensive and we are debating if it is worth it. I am glad that he loves to help us make things. On a good note, I had my fourth ultrasound today. We are in the clear so no placenta previa for us. It was kind of weird to see the baby so big, the head looked so much bigger than it did ten weeks ago. The doctor told us she looks really healthy and she had a good strong heart beat so we are resting a lot easier now. I can't believe that we ha

Tonight I am up with heartburn again. This makes something close to five nights in a row that I have sat up until about 3am waiting for it to subside enough for me to get some sleep. I think I have called the nurse at least 8 times about my heartburn and they just have totally worthless things to say. It has let me catch up on tv and movies but has made me a pretty cranky mom for Daniel. Tonight I am watching "Sabrina," the Harrison Ford version, not the Audrey Hepburn. It screams of early 1990s horrible clothing styles. I can't remember the last time I watched it but it is pretty funny. Today in primary during sharing time in junior primary, Sister Edwards was asking the kids about different pictures and what priesthood ordinance was being performed in each of the pictures. She held up the picture of John the Baptist baptizing Jesus and asked what was going on. Someone answered that Jesus was being baptized and she asked by whom and one of the CTR 5s shouted "

So the baby girl sure moves a lot. I remember being amazed when I was pregnant with Daniel, when they asked about fetal kicks and I thought, seriously there are babies who only kick 10 times in an hour? Those women are so lucky. I wanted to have Daniel as soon as possible mostly because I didn't think that my ribs would hold up from his abuse. I had a lot of people tell me that he would probably still be a calm baby anyway, that some babies are just active in the womb. Those people were dead wrong. Daniel has just been on the move since he was conceived apparently. The only thing I worried about with having two kids close together is that they would both be as active as Daniel. It looks as though we are well on our way to having two kids who can't sit still and have to be into everything and anything. By the way does anyone have any tips on how to convince Daniel that he doesn't have to stand on a chair and help mom in the kitchen every time I walk in there? I am
