August Already?

I cannot believe that so much time has passed. Obviously we have done more than just sit around the house. We went camping with all of us Daniels in July. I am sure I have pictures of Alice and Dax looking like coal workers somewhere. We spend a lot of time outside playing in the yard and weeding.

Jason started a new job and so far things are going really well. We miss him now that he doesn't work from home, but not enough to want him back everyday. He and I have amended our lifestyle (we went on a diet) and both have lost a lot of weight so that has been nice. Being healthier and having more energy is nice when having young terrorizing children.

Daniel starts preschool in two weeks and I am so excited for him to have this opportunity and for him to be someone else's problem for two hours twice a week. He can be challenging.

Alice is still grumpy, hates people a little less, and is really cute. She loves to wipe up her tray when she is all done eating which is awesome. She constantly wants to be outside which is ok with me.

If anyone wants to buy a house in Eagle Mountain they are building one next door. Actually I think they eventually will build two. The only problem out here is that you have no soil, just rocks. Which has made working in the yard awesome. But I will keep most of my rants about the yard to my other blog.

We have had lots of tragic accidents hit my family lately so I just want to let everyone who reads this know that it is important to appreciate people while they are alive and around. Especially your kids.

Time is just flying by for reals! Congrats on the losing weight/being healthy! That is awesome. Maybe you could teach me to amend my ways with eating. I ate a mint brownie today after breakfast. I have a serious problem. And I am super jealous about the preschool thing. I know Anna and I would both love it. Where is he going and how much is it?

I'm proud of you and Jason for being healthy. I need to do better. I keep saying that but don't do much about it. My kids were both and still are sometimes shy about people. Seemed like they didn't like them....but I bet she will come around. Cute pictures.

Sewing Quilts with Daniel

Daniel is not one to sit still very often at all. My parents say that he is totally my son and that I drove my mom crazy too but frankly I can't remember that far back. There is one thing that Daniel loves to help me with, and that is sewing. He loves the machine and loves to sit in my lap as we sew anything. Sometimes I think about just sewing straight lines down my endless supply of fabric because I know he will sit still for awhile. A few months ago I had a good friend show me how to make rag quilts. The first one that Daniel and I sewed together was for my niece Abigale. Then of course I had to make one for my nephew Joshua. Then I decided to make one for Daniel. I was going to make a transportation one, full of trucks and planes and boats, but when I took him to the fabric store, much to my surprise and delight he chose dragons over the airplanes. So we started his quilt last week. He sat on my lap or next to me while we sewed every piece together. He was so excited ...

Sitting Up

Alice has begun sitting up. She can sit for about a minute on her own and then for about five minutes supported. Grass is also her new favorite thing and she will grab the blanket that she sits on and move it so that she can grab the grass. She can currently pull of fist fulls of grass with no hesitation. Although she did face plant in the grass and decided that the grass was not where her head should be. Daniel loves raspberries. He loves to run outside and pick raspberries straight from the bushes. Then he loves to run around the yard at grandma's house screaming. Alvin the dog is actually more afraid of Daniel than the other way around. Our house is coming along and hopefully within the month so we can get more settled. Yellowstone was a successful trip and our kids had a blast. Daniel could not see out the binoculars so eventually we just started pointed out animals that he could see on his own which were: buffalo. Good things seeing four million buffalo was exciting...

in case you have not heard

Baby Webb #3 is on the way. Here the baby is. We are going to try to be strong and not find out the sex at the ultra sound. So if you have an opinion, about the sex, feel free to share it. I am sure Jason will put a vote up. So far he wants names like "gunner" and "ruby." I told him Gunner might not go so well with Alice and Daniel, but who am I to stop an opinion? Oh wait. I was sick off and on for a few weeks but feel pretty good now. This is the baby at 10 weeks. We are about 13.5 weeks today. Due the end of February. I guess if we are lucky it could be a leap day baby. Daniel saw the baby in the ultra sound and was totally not surprised. His comment was "is that the baby I knew was growing in your tummy?" Alice was disturbed and cried and didn't eat for about two days. Then Daniel reminded me of a few months ago when he heard a voice from heaven telling him we needed another baby. He told me that "heavenly father w...
