The new year

Well, I have really not kept up with my usual blogging schedule. Things have gotten just crazy and mostly, I have no permanent spot for my computer so the time I take to get it out and set it up and boot up...well I just have time for the super important things and not updating this. So here is a small recap.

Alice has so many teeth. Six right now and two more that we can see coming up. Due to this her sleeping is all over the place and I am trying to wean her and she hates it.

Daniel is growing up so fast. We did have to cut his seventies hair he had going on but hopefully it will grow out soon again. He is lounging with me watching tv right now. His new favorite movie is the Incredibles which he claims reminds him of our family. Jason and I are not sure if that is a good or bad thing. Daniel has also started getting himself dressed which is good and horrible since he never wants help. So if you see us and he has his pants and his shirt on backwards, just keep it to your self.

Other than that, not much is going on. We teach sunbeams which is a hoot and a holler on Sundays. But with Alice it is also a challenge but so far, we haven't been sick.

We are just trying to get ready for spring and wondering how much landscape we can afford this year. Anyone know a good landscaper?

Also I am too lazy to go and get my camera so this post will have no pictures. Sorry this is so boring, it has been one of those weeks.

My sister and brother-in-law are landscape architects. They might be able to help. Let me know if you want their info. Also, when will I be seeing you so I can give you that dinosaur toy?

I have been terrible at blogging too. Meh. I can't imagine why you would want to ween your child with so many teeth! lol. Poor you. Evan still has none at 7 months. I am excited to come and play on Monday!

Whale Watching in San Francisco

My sister and her family came all the way from Idaho to visit us. Naturally we had to take them to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a typical July day, foggy, freezing, windy and crowded. We battled people on bikes and with strollers and the wind to walk onto the bridge. We had just made it to the first tower when we noticed a whale watching tour boat and joked about how cool it would be if there was suddenly a whale that came out of the water. About ten seconds later, A WHALE CAME OUT OF THE WATER! It didn't ever do the complete National Geographic flip over or show it's tail, but there was a Humpback Whale feeding, and it kept coming up to eat. It was amazing. AMAZING. We spent almost 40 minutes watching the whale, possibly whales at the time. There was one in particular that came over, right below us the kids could all see it, and it was so close we could see the barnacles on the mouth, and it rolled and was putting on quite the show for us. in case you have not heard

Baby Webb #3 is on the way. Here the baby is. We are going to try to be strong and not find out the sex at the ultra sound. So if you have an opinion, about the sex, feel free to share it. I am sure Jason will put a vote up. So far he wants names like "gunner" and "ruby." I told him Gunner might not go so well with Alice and Daniel, but who am I to stop an opinion? Oh wait. I was sick off and on for a few weeks but feel pretty good now. This is the baby at 10 weeks. We are about 13.5 weeks today. Due the end of February. I guess if we are lucky it could be a leap day baby. Daniel saw the baby in the ultra sound and was totally not surprised. His comment was "is that the baby I knew was growing in your tummy?" Easter

My mom and dad invited us all kids to Easter at their house. Most of us made it. They had a whole weekend of fun planned for the kids. Thanks to mom and Tiff. The kids made bunny ears and little ducks and bunnies. They decorated cookies and played with cousins. My kids had so much fun. Then we had a wonderful easter egg hunt in which we found all but one easter egg. Daniel of course tried to get all the eggs before the other kids even realized what was going on. Alice did pretty good collecting eggs. Abby and Steph looking at their goodies. This is Alice in her adorable new dress. Thanks Steph!
